The alluvium of the Rudava River is a system of river channels, wetlands, fens, and peat bogs in the Záhorie region that is relatively little known. This river is particularly interesting because its riverbed has not been affected by artificial regulation. Thanks to this, a remarkable piece of nature has developed here, reminiscent of a primeval forest. Unusual features include tree trunks that have fallen freely into the riverbed.

Such conditions create an ideal basis for the life of certain species of fauna and flora. Various species of fish, birds, amphibians, aquatic invertebrates, and dragonflies can be found here. The riverbed is bordered by a very beautiful forest, in places resembling the dense floodplain forests along the Danube, full of wild garlic, which creates a wonderful atmosphere especially in spring. In some areas, the floodplain forest alternates with traditional pine forests that were planted here artificially.

The Rudava River springs near the village of Bílkove Humence and flows westward. It empties into the Morava River near the village of Malé Leváre. The Rudava alluvium, with its many meanders, offers a perfect playground for easy hiking, running, or cycling.

It is worth exploring the Rudava River in the area near the village of Studienka. This is where the most naturally interesting sites are located. Access to the riverbed is easy here. While exploring, you can follow the markings of the Hasprunská 50, a local long-distance hiking route. These markings are not traditional tourist signs; they have their own distinctive style, but they are very clearly visible. The path is also well worn, so you should not get lost. However, you do not have to stick strictly to the route and can combine it freely with individual forest roads. In several places, it is even possible to cross the river via concrete bridges. You should expect obstacles in the form of electric fences for grazing cattle. If you are not familiar with the area, it is worth following the Hasprunská 50 route. It is also an ideal trail that will take you past all the interesting places along the riverbed. You can choose the length of the route according to the time you have available and your desire to explore. In any case, you can easily spend an entire day here.

A walk along the Rudava riverbed is attractive not only for its beautiful nature but also for its unique settlements in the form of the cottage hamlets Tančiboky and Holbičky. The Tančiboky fishpond is also very picturesque. Be sure not to miss the place where the Veľkolevársky canal joins the Rudava; there is a small weir here. It is also worth visiting the very source of the Rudava near Bílkove Humence.
