If you are considering an interesting trip near Bratislava, we recommend the Klokoč Peak. It is a 661-meter-high summit in the Small Carpathians, located on the main ridge above the village of Plavecké Podhradie.

The alluvium of the Rudava River is a system of river channels, wetlands, fens, and peat bogs in the Záhorie region that is relatively little known. This river is particularly interesting because its riverbed has not been affected by artificial regulation. Thanks to this, a remarkable piece of nature has developed here, reminiscent of a primeval forest. Unusual features include tree trunks that have fallen freely into the riverbed.

The Slate Mine in Marianka is a historic mining site located in Mariánske Valley, directly opposite the local Calvary. The mine has been made interestingly accessible to the public and is well worth a visit. It is only open sporadically, usually on public holidays.

The Roman military station in Stupava is a top-tier attraction from the Roman Empire era. It dates back to the second half of the 2nd century, when the Romans reached this area via the Amber Road. Although almost unknown to the public, it has been a National Cultural Monument since 1963.

Pajštún Castle is a ruin located above the village of Borinka and is one of the most well-known castles in the Little Carpathians, enjoying considerable popularity. Bratislava residents often make weekend trips here.

Dračí Hrádok is a ruined castle located above the village of Borinka, near Bratislava. It sits on Starý Hrad Hill at an elevation of 370 meters. The castle can be reached from Borinka along the main road toward Medené Hámre (former mining settlement), with a short hike up the hill via the yellow hiking trail leading directly to the ruins.
