Horský Park is a natural recreational area and urban park in Bratislava, located near the popular Slavín War Memorial. It is a pleasant, gently hilly park offering various opportunities for active relaxation, whether for light walks, jogging, visiting the children’s playground, or enjoying a small café in the local forester’s lodge. In summer, it provides a refreshing oasis with cooler microclimate.

The park is easily accessible by public transport, and you can also reach it by car, parking in nearby streets, though parking can sometimes be challenging. The park is best visited on foot. It is generally well connected within the city, though some uphill walking is required, especially coming from the Old Town. From Patrónka Street, the incline is minimal. A pleasant walk leads to the park via Hlboká Street.

Inside the park, there are numerous paths, benches, and points of interest such as the statue of Heinrich Justi, the mayor who founded the park. The forester’s lodge is very popular, offering a small refreshment spot, a playground, a mini-zoo, and cultural events. Runners enjoy the forest paths and the local stone staircase, which provides a good workout.

Horský Park is ideal for daily relaxation for all age groups. Visitors can enjoy quiet moments in the shade of trees, take a stroll through the adjacent villa neighborhoods, or explore nearby attractions like Slavín with its panoramic city views, or the Lourdes Cave.
