It is characterized primarily by its beautiful natural surroundings, especially unique, massive trees.

Pánova Meadow

Visitors can enjoy a wooden shelter with seating and several fire pits. The hike to the meadow does not take much time and is suitable for all age groups. All of this makes Pánova Meadow an excellent choice for a day trip.

To reach Pánova Meadow, it is recommended to start from Rača near the amphitheater, where there is a large parking lot. From there, the trail follows the blue-marked path with a gentle ascent straight to the meadow.

A scenic stopping point along the way is the top of the small hill Malá Baňa, which offers beautiful views and a spot for a barbecue. Alternatively, you can take the green-marked trail via the popular Zbojníčka Spring and continue along the yellow trail.

Cyclists can also reach Pánova Meadow using a combination of bike trails, starting for example at Železná Studienka Recreation Area. A mountain or trekking bike is recommended. Pánova Meadow is a crossroads of hiking trails, so you can plan routes from many directions, including Marianka or Borinka villages. It all depends on your enthusiasm for hiking and exploring.

The hike from Rača to Pánova Meadow is a very pleasant tour and comes highly recommended. It is suitable for almost everyone, except those with serious health issues. However, there is no on-site refreshment such as a snack bar, so you will need to bring supplies with you. Water can be drawn from the Zbojníčka Spring, though its safety is not guaranteed, so it is better to bring your own.
